This gallery has pictures both topside and underwater from my trip to Bonaire in December 2008. Everything is now print-ready and may be ordered online.
Bonaire is located off the coast of Venezuela and is known as the shore diving capital of the world. This was my 1st trip and without a doubt, it lives up to it's reputation.
A giant basketstar star taken at Buddy's Reef (#0069). These are part of the echindorms family and are found attached to deeper reefs and like to attach themselves to sea rods. They are tightly wrapped during the day, but unfurl at night to feed. They can range in size of up to 1.5' and are found in waters up to 230' deep. This was obviously taken on a night dive. THIS PICTURE IS OWNED BY NAV SINGH. FOR MORE INFORMATION, VISIT HIS SITE AT SCUBANAV.SMUGMUG.COM.
