This gallery has pictures both topside and underwater from my trip to Bonaire in December 2008. Everything is now print-ready and may be ordered online.
Bonaire is located off the coast of Venezuela and is known as the shore diving capital of the world. This was my 1st trip and without a doubt, it lives up to it's reputation.
A Long-Spined Urchin taken at night on Buddy's Reef (#0069). It's size can range from 4-8" and be found in up to 160' water. This is a young urchin as denoted by his black and white spines. Urchins are part of the echinoderm family. They hide during the day but come out at night to feed on the algae.
