This gallery has pictures both topside and underwater from my trip to Bonaire in December 2008. Everything is now print-ready and may be ordered online.
Bonaire is located off the coast of Venezuela and is known as the shore diving capital of the world. This was my 1st trip and without a doubt, it lives up to it's reputation.
Ocellate Swimming Crab taken at night on Buddy's Reef (#0069). These crabs are relatively small (only 4") and can be found in up to 90' deep water. His rear legs have paddle-like appendages that are used for swimming. Notice how he's tucked up under the reef? They do this as a retreat from divers.
